Buyer's fees:
- 5 % government registration fee
- 2 % + VAT agency fee
- 1 % + VAT notary fee
Seller's fees:
- 5 % government transfer tax
- 2 % + VAT agency fee

RES Sale
Buyer's fees:
- 5 % government registration fee or USD 25,000 whichever is the higher
- 2 % + VAT agency fee

IRS Sale
Buyer's fees:
- 5 % government registration fee or USD 70,000 whichever is the higher
- 2 % + VAT agency fee
- 1 % + VAT notary fee

Notes
When buying off-plan, there is usually no agency fee.
When buying as a non-citizen, an application fee to the EDB is currently between Rs 10,000 and Rs 50,000 Mauritian Rupees.Agency fees
